BET announces “BET Awards” 2023 will return LIVE from Los Angeles on Sunday, June 25. Culture’s Biggest Night will celebrate five decades of Hip Hop throughout the LIVE telecast on BET. “BET Awards” has been the #1 cable award show among all adults 18-49 for two consecutive years, 2022 and 2021, and is the #1 cable award show among Urban adults 18-49 for the 21st consecutive year (CY02-CY22).   BET AWARDS 2023 Returns Live From LA

BET announced a partnership with iHeartMedia that will bring the award-winning hit morning show “The Breakfast Club” starring DJ Envy and Charlamagne Tha God from iHeartMedia New York’s Power 105.1 to BET’s 2023 programming lineup.      BET Airs THE BREAKFAST CLUB Weekdays 9am

BET will televise a one-hour special edition of “The Breakfast Club” daily Monday through Friday. These specials will feature unrivaled interviews and conversations with celebrities, artists, and thought leaders along with entertainment news and conversations punctuated with The Breakfast Club’s signature blend of honesty and humor.

The wildly popular, culture shifting morning show will be available weekdays to millions of fans starting Monday, April 17th at 9 AM ET on BET and VH1. Episodes from the week will all be available to stream every Sunday on BET+.

MF Doom and Madlib are Madvillain ALL CAPS!

MF DOOM, also known as Daniel Dumile, was a British-American rapper, songwriter, record producer, and DJ. He was born in London on July 13, 1971, and moved to Long Island, New York, with his family when he was a child. He began his musical career in 1988 as a member of the hip hop group KMD, which released two albums before disbanding in 1993.

After the breakup of KMD, Dumile retreated from the music industry for a few years. He then reemerged in 1997 under the new name MF DOOM, adopting a comic book-inspired persona and signature metal mask. He released his debut solo album, Operation: Doomsday, in 1999, and went on to release a further five solo albums, as well as several collaborative albums.

MF DOOM was known for his unique and innovative approach to hip hop, his complex rhyme schemes, and his use of samples from a wide range of genres. He was also a prolific producer, and produced many of his own tracks as well as tracks for other artists.
MF DOOM was a highly respected figure in the hip hop community, and his music has been praised by critics and fans alike. He died on October 31, 2020, at the age of 49.
